Denomination: Church of England

Date: c1557 and partially rebuilt in 1879. Reputed to be built using stones from Whalley Abbey.

A notice board by the entrance says:-

"This church is maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust

with money provided by Parliament and the Church of England and by the gifts of the public.

Although no longer used for regular worship it remains a consecrated building.

Open Sundays 2pm - 5pm"
