Daniel b1890 d 1984 Brooklyn NY m Rachel McKILLOP
Daniel known as Dan McAuley went to USA about 1930. Ships manifests show Rachel left Glasgow for New York with the children in August aboard the SS Transylvania, they were going to join her husband in Brooklyn. A visit to the new Scotlands People Centre in Edinburgh shows Daniel & Rachel did not marry until 1926, records in the RCE registers show the children who all had the McAuley name were legitimised in April 1930.
